The talented artist Ramil Cueto graced the BAGSIK (Batangueñong Grupo Sa Sining at Kultura) exhibit as honorable guest and speaker. The event, titled "Pag-ibig at Sining ng Bayang Malikhain," served a dual purpose: celebrating National Arts Month and supporting young artists from Calicanto Elementary School.
Held at the 3rd level of Waltermart in Calicanto Batangas City on February 10, 2024, the charity exhibition spanned eight days and was generously sponsored by Expressions. Cueto, known for his commitment to self-expression in art, took the stage to emphasize the significance of artistic freedom and individuality.

The focal point of the exhibition was to give back to the community, specifically benefiting young artists from Calicanto Elementary School. BAGSIK members dedicated their time to providing free art lessons, fostering creativity among the budding talents. Expressions contributed to the cause by supplying art materials at no cost, ensuring that financial constraints would not hinder the students' artistic exploration.

BAGSIK President Remo Valenton echoed Cueto's sentiments, underscoring the importance of instilling a love for the arts in younger generations. Valenton expressed the desire to continue organizing charity exhibitions, using art as a means to uplift and support local communities.
BAGSIK PRO Eric Punzalan addressed a common barrier to art appreciation: the intimidation some people feel when entering galleries and museums. To bridge this gap, Punzalan spoke of the group's commitment to bringing exhibitions closer to the people, creating a more inclusive and accessible artistic experience.

In essence, the BAGSIK exhibit in Batangas became a melting pot of creativity, community support, and a shared vision for the future. Through this event, the local art community not only celebrated their talents but also sowed seeds of inspiration and artistic passion among the younger generation, ensuring that the flame of creativity continues to burn brightly in Batangas.
